We live in an increasingly fragmented world, where mobile phones, computers, and social media shape the gestures, postures, and rhythms of daily life. This body of work reimagines and deconstructs the human figure through cubist-inspired folds and bends, translating movement and emotion into angular, sculptural forms.

Andrea has long been fascinated by three-dimensional sculptural forms, a passion that dates to her childhood when she imagined and crafted a set of 3D cardboard zoo animals at her grandmother’s house. Over time, she has developed a distinctive folding technique that exaggerates geometry and sharp creases, revealing the psychological and symbolic essence of each subject. Suspended between physical sculpture and digital translation, these works navigate multiple media, expanding the visual and conceptual language of the human figure.
