Multiblock Japanese Water-based woodcuts on Awagami Kozo Select Murakumo Paper & Photopolymer Etchings, 2024 – 2025

My artist residency at Moskosel Creative Lab in Lapland, Sweden, inspired a series of prints using a variety of techniques. During the residency, I developed an immersive VR experience, “Rise of the Ice Queens”, and visited the Ajtte Museum in Jokkmokk to research Sami traditions, 3D-scanned the Northern landscapes, and recorded 360-degree videos of the Aurora Borealis to build a virtual world covered in ice and snow, with skies illuminated by the Aurora.
