A series of Japanese Woodcuts on Awagami Kozo Select Paper that transforms my digital imaginaries into physical objects. When I immerse myself in my speculative virtual reality worlds, I take numerous photographs. I have the freedom to choose angle, frame, and perspective just like a photographer in the real world. Afterward, I print on thin Awagami Murakumo Kozo Select Paper. In my studio, I employ Mokuhanga, the traditional Japanese Woodcut technique, to carve woodblocks and then print on both sides with water-based colors. Throughout the process, I rely on intuition and add new elements to the print. The resulting prints combine virtual creations with traditional woodcut print.
